Skills To Be Devloped-
During this unit of work I will be looking to develop arange of different skills as there are some skills i lack one of the main ones is my confidence i would like to work on this skill
a lot more. When it comes to perfoming i am quite shy and only like raising my voice to a certain extent.This is something i would like to work on as it could get me a higher grade. If i can make my confidence a lot better then my performance will come on loads!
Another skill that i would like to work on is being able to keep on top of all my work for my porfolio as i am falling behind by quite a lot, all my portfolio work is equal to 60% of my exam grade and if im not up to date with all my work im not going to get the highest mark i can possible get. During the Water Station i fell behind by quite alot so i wasnt really able to get the grade to match my practical work.
Selection Of Material-
For this term our selection of material was The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween town, comes across Christmas town and is so taken with the idea of Christmas he wants all the town residents to help him fulfill this idea of putting on Christmas instead of Halloween- But they just cant get it quite right.
When doing this we were going to put a sick twist to it, we wanted to give the audience a little shock. While putting this together my group put a lot of thought into it and did a lot of research and related it to real life things that have happened. We based ours on the 'Moors Murders' we looked through all the different newspaper articles. some of the websites we used were:
